My name is Nate Hendley and I am a Toronto-based freelance writer.

I have been working professionally since the early 1990s and have written hundreds of news stories, features, reviews, advertorials and reports for a wide variety of media outlets including The National Post, ctv.ca news, OpenFile, Now magazine and eye weekly.

I have written and proofread copy for corporate clients, given public presentations and helped facilitate media training sessions.

I have worked as a blog content manager and am comfortable writing for both print and digital sources.

I am also a published author who has written a series of non-fiction books, primarily in the true-crime genre. My books cover everything from gangsters, bank robbers and historic feuds to artistic motivation.
